1. Returns and refunds

In case of defects, the purchased product can be returned, together with the original packaging, within fourteen (14) days from the date of purchase, upon presentation of the original receipt or invoice.

The Meter may at its option replace the product or refund the purchase price; in the latter case, the refund will be made in accordance with the means of payment used at the time of purchase. The refund will be made by bank transfer, within ten (10) working days, if the amount to be refunded is greater than € 1.019 for purchases made in cash, by means of payment equivalent to cash, or by check. Also, note the following:
Products with customized con fi gurations cannot be returned or exchanged.

Products can only be returned in the country in which they were purchased.

3. Guarantees

Pursuant to articles 128-135 of the Consumer Code, Italian consumers have up to 24 months to report to the seller a defect in the product existing at the time of delivery. It is assumed that the defects that occur in the first 6 months from delivery of the product already existed at the time of delivery. A consumer who intends to enforce the guarantee pursuant to the Consumer Code can contact The Meter by filling in the appropriate form

Commercial Area

1.Info about shipments

The Meter shipping varies by geographic region. We deliver within 3/5 business days across the country. For shipments to abroad, the price varies according to the destination.
Purchase orders are processed within 1/2 working days of crediting / receipt of payment.
We ship throughout Italy with insurance that covers the value of the goods purchased. In case of loss or damage of the products during transport, you will be protected by our insurance, free for you.

Once the shipment has been made, we will send an e-mail notification. A further notification, again via e-mail, will be sent by our courier (DHL), who will indicate the shipping date and the tracking number necessary to monitor the delivery status.
In case of non-delivery, the courier will attempt delivery for three consecutive working days. After that, the package will go into storage at the courier’s logistics center. You will then be contacted by phone or e-mail (if the telephone number was not indicated) by our customer service. In the event that the package remains in storage for three days, we will return the goods to our warehouse by charging the shipping costs. We reserve the right to charge you the costs for a possible second shipment.
Delivery takes place during office hours (9: 00-18: 00) at the address provided. By the way: we recommend that you provide as precise information as possible (recipient, full address, telephone number), so you can help us offer you a timely delivery, without unexpected events.
Remember that The Meter cannot in any way require the courier to contact you before delivery, nor can it specify a time for the same. It is up to you, in case of any requests, to contact the call center of the express courier service, using the data we will provide you through the shipment notification.

Upon delivery and before signing the parcel delivery document, please check that:
⦁ the number of packages delivered corresponds to what is indicated in the order confirmation email;
⦁ the packaging is intact and undamaged.

Only after these checks, will you be able to accept the delivery and sign the relevant document. Once the courier’s document has been signed, it will no longer be possible to make any objection about the external characteristics of what has been delivered.
If any damage or errors in the shipment are found, you can refuse the delivery and raise a dispute directly to the courier, simultaneously sending an e-mail to our customer service. Any problems relating to the integrity, correspondence or completeness of the products received must be reported to The Meter within 5 days of delivery. The date of delivery means the date indicated by the express courier.

2. Terms of sale

The terms contained in these general conditions do not deprive the buyer, in the case of a consumer, of the rights attributed by the applicable mandatory rules, including the rights and actions referred to in Legislative Decree no. 206 of 6 September 2005 (“Consumer Code”).

Pursuant to articles 128-135 of the Consumer Code, Italian consumers have up to 26 months to report to the seller a product defect existing at the time of delivery. It is assumed that the defects that occur in the first 6 months from delivery of the product already existed at the time of delivery. Purchases with financing are subject to the terms and conditions of the financing agreement. Therefore, it may not be possible to return them according to this policy.

Prices
Should The Meter reduce the price of any The Meter branded product, any purchaser of that product who made the purchase within the fourteen (14) days prior to the price reduction date will the right to request a refund equal to the difference between the price paid and the new price. To this end, the buyer must show the original receipt or invoice; this refund can be requested within fourteen (14) days from the date of the price reduction. The Meter reserves the right to change the price of the products at any time or to correct any errors in the price.

Export

The Meter products are subject to applicable customs and export control laws and regulations and, therefore, must be purchased, sold, exported, re-exported, transferred or used in compliance with such laws and regulations.

Product availability and limitations
The Meter reserves the right, at its discretion and at different times, to limit the amount of products available for purchase by its customers. As such, The Meter may request additional qualifying information prior to accepting or processing any order.
